Slick says '' don't be Skeer'd '' !

Another year, another faunsdale biker rally.  And yes, they do have a spring one also... I just wasn't able to make it this year.  Although my buddy Snake sent in a bunch of pics that he shot and I finally got around to adding them to the site, see his pictures in the MORE BIKER RALLIES above.

Ok, so lets get down to business.  I showed up on friday, but they really didn't have anything going on.  Hung out with my buddies, said hi to everybody and just kinda stood around wondering where the party was.  In previous years they had the HogNuts put on their own little wet t shirt contest off in the back of the campground, but unfortunately they didn't make it there 'till Saturday... leaving friday night very quiet.

Saturday was quite a bit busier.  Started off with a big red cross van pulling up around 10AM and a bunch of bleary eyed bikers donating some of their time and blood to a good cause.  Not to mention the free alchool probably floating around in it... makes you wonder somewhere if somebody ain't gonna wake up AFTER a big wreck feeling better than they should :)

An early morning poker run around noonish... some biker games in the afternoon followed by a bike show and Tatoo contest for both men & women.  Oh ya, and a strong man contest.

One of my favorite things about this rally is the biker rodeo, cuz if you messup you get to go around for a second chance... if you do it naked!  Too bad there was only a couple of takers, I guess them cheap little trophies don't get you what they used to.

They did have free titty painting for any girl that wanted it in the late afternoon.. now that's more like it.

After dark they had a band called... ah....  this is embarassing... Hired Gun?  Damn I forget their name).  I must get getting old, cuz you think I could remember CUZ THEY WAS THE ONLY BAND at the rally !   Sure makes for a quieter than usual evening... especially when it took them as long to setup as to play a set.

After raffling off some stuff after the sun went down they had their wet t shirt contest, hosted by ''Slick'', an enterprising ol'school biker that sets up his own little party spot off in the campground every year.  This guy's pretty funny, you can hear him throughout the entire contest telling the girls ''come on now, don't be skeered, don't be skeered''.  Hahahaha.  Them girls sure didn't look very scared to me!  Slick's pretty good at hosting the contest... it lasts ALMOST AN ENTIRE HOUR !!!!  I think it's officially the LONGEST wet t shirt contest I've ever been to!  Maybe I should send him a trophy or something?  It sure was a great contest.

After that things just kinda wound down.  The rally has something they call a ''breezy ride'', where you can get yourself an official breezy ride pin for your jacket if you ride through the campground naked at midnight.  They had a few takers, you could hear them hootin' and hollin' around the campground.

All in all it wasn't too bad, with about maybe 1500 people or so showing up.  This rally used to be a lot wilder, things have taken a turn for the tamer in the last couple of years... I miss the old days when the HogNuts used to put on their own party in the back and they had Fast Eddie DJ'ing the rally.
