First time show for me.       For some reason I thought this show was off the road out in some campground, way out in the middle of nowhere. It's not. Neither is it wild. It's a familly oriented event right in the heart of Maggie Valley, NC.       They had a banging music line up, all the bands were better than usual. Headlining Saturday night was American Idol finalist Amanda Overmyer, but by the time she started playing the rain was just pelting down. Instead of cancelling the show like most bands would have done she simply invited the people standing out in the rain to come up on stage where it was dry, and simply turned the the band around and played to the people. Very cool of her. Not all bands would have gone the extra mile to keep the show going.       I felt real sorry for the guys putting on the show. It rained, it poured and then just for a switch it drizzled. They tried to pull of the Saturday afternoon bike games but it was just too wet.       They did have some real cool fire dancers on Friday night. Them girls put on a pretty good show and the Alabama Blues Brothers and Thunderfoot got up on stage and cranked out their tunes like the pro's they are.       I dunno what to say. I prefer the adults only rallies, but hey that's me. If you're looking for a show to bring the entire familly to this would be a great one. And just a few hundred yards down the road is the world famous motorcycle museum '' wheels through time'' which is certainly worth a visit.       Bob rates this party a 5/10
