| Deep in the heart of southern Alabama is now one of the best parties going on. This rally just keeps getting better year after year, and record crowds turned out this spring, inspite of ''iffy'' weather. Everyone party'ied hard, had a great time and went home with smiles on their faces and hangover's between their ears. The guys that put on this party are just doing everything right, and it shows. I'd guess about 3-4,000 people showed up for the first of the three bama bike fest's this season. The gates open on thursday, but the party doesn't officially start until friday afternoon. Which of course doesn't keep people from setting up in the campgrounds and having a great time anyways. The had a local band out playing on friday night, followed by GENEVA later on. Some drinking games and a couple of contests to keep things interesting and of course the bar was open 'till the wee hours of the morning. Saturday boasted a poker run, bike games and bike show in the afternoon. A girls on bikes photoshoot, some titty painting, a chaps contest, a booty shaking contest and of course their signature event, the $1,000 first prize wet tee shirt contest. And that's just the official enterntainment... what goes on out at the unofficial tailgate party only the people that were there really know. I officially pronounce this one of the best rallies of the season, even though the year has barely started. These people are doing everything right and putting on a great party, and you can tell by way it just keeps growing and getting better. And if you missed the spring party? Don't worry, they've also got a summer & fall rally comming up this year. If you like your parties wild you really NEED to add this rally to your ''to go to'' list this rally season! The Hog wild saloon (the official bar located on the bama bike fest grounds) will be having a memorial day benefit party for a fallen biker, not officially party of the bama bike fest rallies but it still will probably be a good time.
